The 8th Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week will be held on-site in Izola and PortorožSlovenia, from 18 – 22 September 2023. It will be traditionally held in the week leading up to the Mediterranean Coast Day, September 25, which is widely celebrated in the Mediterranean countries.

The Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week 2023, known for its longstanding tradition, continues to focus on raising awareness about the sea and coast, their abundant natural resources, and their significant economic potential. In addition, the event aims to shed light on the various risks that these coastal areas face due to both natural phenomena and human activities. With an array of captivating activities, the organizers guarantee an engaging experience for all participants. This inclusive event serves as a platform that brings together politicians, decision-makers, experts, civil society representatives, and individuals from diverse backgrounds at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
