This year we will offer you a Speakers’ Corner with vibrant discussions on current political questions. The aim is to link discussions in the news flow in our Baltic Sea Region to what is addressed in the EUSBSR.

#METOO – SOMETHING FOR EUSBSR, TOO?

The global Me Too movement against sexual harassment and assault has drawn attention to wider issues of gender equality in society. While these are vital European values, they are almost absent in the EUSBSR and its Action Plan. How can the Baltic Sea region become more gender equal? And what are the main challenges?
